Basically we all know what pregnancy is but still for conveniency ,Pregnancy is
the state of carrying a developing embryo or fetus within the female body .


Pregnancy symptoms at 4 weeks. Normally you get your period about 4 weeksfrom the start of your last period, but if you're pregnant, the clearest sign at this point is a missed period. Many women still feel fine at 4 weeks, but others may notice sore breasts, fatigue, frequent urination, and nausea.The most important tasks of basic fetal cell differentiation occur during the first trimester, so any harm done to the fetus during this period is most likely to result in serious disability.

 • EARLY  SIGNS  OF  PREGNANCY  :-

Every woman is different. So are her experiences of pregnancy. Not every woman has the same symptoms or even the same symptoms from one pregnancy to the next. Some are listed below-

• Bleeding gums

Have you noticed your gums bleeding when you brush your teeth ,It could be pregnancy gingivitis. Hormones can make your teeth more vulnerable to plaque, leaving you with swollen, bleeding gums. 

• Pelvic pain
Symptoms differ from one woman to the next and some suffer more than others but pelvic pain - also known as pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain 

 • Pregnancy anaemia

Your body needs extra iron for your baby, which means you can miss out. Lack of iron can leave you feeling tired and breathlesness.

 • Cramp

Sudden sharp pain in your leg, try gently exercising your legs, ankles and feet during the day.

  • Feeling hot

Your body pumps more blood in pregnancy - that and hormones can make you feel unbearably hot:

 • Faintness
Hormonal changes, low blood pressure, you may become overheated due to pregnancy.

 • Headaches


 • Breast Changes

Breast changes are another very early sign of pregnancy. A woman's hormone levels rapidly change after conception. Because of the changes, her breasts may become swollen, sore, or tingly . Or they may feel heavier or fuller or feel tender to the touch.

 • Spotting and Cramping

After conception, the fertilized egg attaches itself to wall of the uterus.That's called implantation bleeding. It occurs anywhere from six to 12 days after the egg is fertilized. The cramps resemble menstrual cramps, so some women mistake them and the bleeding for the start of their period. 

  • MOOD SWINGS - The most common.


 •  SPECIFIC  BODY  WEIGHT  DURING  BIRTH :-
  The pre-pregnancy BMI lands is 

  • Underweight: BMI below 18.5
  • Normal weight: 18.5 to 24.9
  • Overweight: 25.0 to 29.9
  • Obese: 30.0 and above
The weight ranges below are for a full-term pregnancy: 
  • Underweight: 28 to 40 pounds
  • Normal: 25 to 35 pounds
  • Overweight: 15 to 25 pounds
  • Obese: 11 to 20 pounds
For twins, the recommendations naturally go up: 
  • Normal: 37 to 54 pounds
  • Overweight: 31 to 50 pounds
  • Obese: 25 to 42 pounds

       •  CALORIES  INTAKE  DURING  PREGNANCY :-
  •  Pregnant women need between 2,200 calories and 2,900 calories a day. A gradual increase in calories as the baby grows is the best bet.
  • • The first trimester does not require any extra calories.
  • • During the second trimester, an additional 340 calories a day are recommended.
  • • For the third trimester, the recommendation is 450 calories more a day than when not pregnant.
Additional calories should come from nutrient-dense foods including lean protein, whole grains, dairy, vegetables and fruit. Avoid unneeded extra calories by cutting down on foods high in fat and added sugars such as regular soda, sweets and fried foods.

 • WHAT  NOT  TO  EAT  DURING  PREGNANCY  :-
Pregnancy is one of the most vital and sensitive periods in a woman's life. so it’s very important for pregnant women to eat a healthy diet. Here are some foods and beverages to avoid or minimize during pregnancy.
  1.  High-Mercury Fish
  2.  Undercooked or Raw Fish
  3.  Raw Eggs
  4. Raw Sprouts
  5.  Unpasteurized Milk, Cheese and Fruit Juice. 
  6. Alcohol.
  7. caffeine etc,



  •  WHAT  NOT  TO  EAT  DURING  PREGNANCY :-

 1. Legumes

 2. Dairy products

 3. Salmon

 4. Sweet Patatoes

 5. Broccoli and Dark, Leafy Greens

 6. Eggs

 7. Whole Grains.

 8. Lean meat.

 9. Dried fruits

 10. Avocados

 11. Berries

 12. Lots of water.
